Staminus cuts VPS servers from there hosting services.

My vps has been down since March 18th with no ETA on a fix. Just got this email @ 5am.

Was there any warning when they went down? The email reads as if they just shut them all off at once. Secondly I'm interested in hearing from a server provider on what benefits shutting down the VPS products would yield. Sounds like the company itself may be shutting down slowly, may be time for any other customers to start transitioning (at-least get a hold of their data before they shut them off too).

I wonder what happens with the money that clients spent on yearly subscriptions etc?

No warning. Just all VPS's went down i assume. They supposedly had engineers working on fixing things but it never got fixed and the downtime expanded to weeks. Now this email above.

It boggles my mind how some firms handle damage control, however, companies need to evolve to survive...

That is why they are being told to contact support? I am sure they will refund those unused service.

Was wondering what was going to happen with this since it has been down for a long time since their breach. Hopefully all customers get their files back and find a new home. I wonder what will end up happening to the company itself if it's going to keep rolling on or sell out.

It's very possible that the company will survive via restructuring. Only time will tell.
