Best Options In Europe

Posted by SHZR, 07-11-2014, 12:35 AM
Hi, I am looking for a reseller hosting package located in Europe. I've read a few threads, but it seems I can't find a stable company with these requirements: - Budget: $20 - Dedicated IPs: At least, two (I will be using it to self-assign a SSL certificate - one of my clients demands it). - Prefered location: UK (Germany, Netherlands or or something like that is acceptable, but I will do ping test first) - First month coupon: optional. It would be nice to test the waters with a nice little discount. Thanks for your time!

What about space, bandwidth, control panel, OS? The budget mentioned is monthly or yearly?

Monthly. I do not need anything really powerful, right now. For that kind of money, I am not expecting miracles.

Your budget is on a decent end of the spectrum however this will also depend on your webspace and bandwidth requirements.. Do you have an idea of how much resources you're currently using or will be needing?

Thanks, I'll take a look. One of my websites receives 150 visits daily, the other one has not even launched, but I have A LOT of content planned for it, so I might be getting around 500 visitors daily in two weeks or so. Maybe more. It's funny, I was browsing InnoHosting this morning. I even started a little chat with Sales, regarding the whole SSL thing. I don't know if it's a standard thing in the reseller environment, but I was told I couldn't generate self-signed SSL certificates (something I did multiple times in a VPS, for example). Is this the norm? Last edited by SHZR; 07-11-2014 at 05:44 AM.

You can take a look at leaseweb as well.

I talked with Sales and the cPanel alone is around $25. It's a bit over the budget. Thanks, anyway.

I had a review of the sales chats this morning and was able to find the chat you had with one of our Sales reps.. You can generate a self signed certificate - that is not an issue. However for IP justification purposes, a self signed certificate cannot be used for justification of an IP (in majority of cases).. However, we do provide customers with 1x free SSL certificate issued by a reputable CA and our normal SSL costs start from $13.99/year .

Thanks for clearing that up. That free SSL certificate is peaking my interest. My client really needs one. Is your promotion, on the resellers' offer section, still a go?

Hi There, If you're referring to this promotion 30% recurring discount + free upgrade, then I can confirm the promotion is still available .

Don't be paying £13.99 for ssl you can buy them for £5.26 from Namecheap and if you purchase a domain name with them they are doing them for £1.99.
