Looking for a solid European reseller

Posted by maneki, 02-28-2014, 09:58 AM
Hi, As I mentioned I'm looking for a good Euro reseller. I migrated from EZPZ to IceBlueHost cause my sites were inaccessible 10 or more times during the day, especially around 16:00 CET. I'm leaving IceBlueHost since they have a strict restrictions regarding php_value max_input_vars suhosin.post.max_vars suhosin.request.max_vars The values are set to 1000 by default, but that's not enough for me. I use WP as the base for my sites, and on one of them I have over 400 menu items, and with the value of 1000 I can save only 89 menu items. I use reseller to host my service sites, I don't actually resell the hosting, but I need the increased recurse in comparison to shared. My budget is around 20 euros or 17 Pounds So I need a: Solid, and established reseller hosting. php_value max_input_vars suhosin.post.max_vars suhosin.request.max_vars Must be able to set at a minimum of 5000(or more) trough .htaccess. Support is very important since I'm a fronted developer more than a technician, so I need server related support. As I mentioned earlier EZPZ and IceBlueHost are out, please recommend someone else. Thanks.

Why not get a vps so you can change any setting you want? If you are in a reseller hosting account, you can't change the setting in the server including asking the provider to change it.

A managed VPS could be the way to go if frequent changes are required to the hosting environment.

As said above VPS would be the best option if you're wanting to change your own settings, but if that's not an option budget wise then check out the offers forums, the best bet would be to find some hosts you like and contact them asking if they can change them limits for you (or if you can set them yourself).

Hi there, Can you tell me which ticket you have with us about this problem? We have changed such settings in the past for other clients, so I would like to know the reason why it was not done for you. Feel free to PM me if you don't wish to discuss it openly. Regards, Patrick

First of all I would like to mention that the reason for migration is NOT disappointment with IceBlueHost, I'm very satisfied with the service they offer, but as I said the problem is that my sites function with lots of menu items, and that cant be changed, so I need the mentioned values increased, and that is the only reason for migration. About VPS, as I mentioned earlier I'm not a technician, I can't say I know nothing, but VPS is I believe harder to manage than a reseller(not that I have tried yet),I might look deeper in to this idea. 2 Patrick, Thanks for taking the time to look in to the issue. The ticket number is: #559563 If you have a solution I would be more than happy to stay your client. I don't mind the open discussion, but if you wish to talk in private PM me. Thanks again.

I would like to say that we have resolved this issue on the satisfaction of both sides(at least I think they are satisfied ). A warm recommendation to anybody looking for a good hosting company.
