A Search here at WHT should help you decide: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/search...rchid=47534875 I've used JaguarPC in the past (owners of HZ) and found the service level offered quite good, however that has been some time ago now. Recent reviews are mixed, best to research thoroughly and build your own opinion (Although, be sure to keep in mind that satisfied customers are generally more silent than their dissatisfied counterparts).

That's a bit broad of a question, but as dw mentioned, it's somewhat of a mixed bag -- Jag hasn't exactly been passing with flying colors as of late. To the contrary, though, I'm sure they are working on things and they have been a long-time mainstay in the industry... point being, do your due-diligence thoroughly. If you're looking for a generic WHM/cPanel type environment, whether shared or dedicated, and you're flexible enough with location and budget, the options are nearly endless; there's tons of competition in that space. So I think you owe it to yourself to keep your options open and do some good searching in the reseller forum. If you take a few years' worth of history here, it becomes fairly obvious who the best options are.

If you were to recommend a reseller company who would it be ?

Too broad a question by itself; what are some of your requirements? Control panel? Disk space? Transfer? # of accounts/domains? SLAs for service and support? End-user support? Location preference? The more of those you can nail down, the better the recommendation(s) I can give you.

cPanel/WHM, 30Gig Diskspace, 10accounts, in canada. I have http://www.resellerzoom.com/cloud-re...-hosting.shtml Silver Plan 25,000 MB diskspace 1,000 GB Transfer $29.95 /mo that is what I have now.

Cartika, Netelligent or CanadianWebHosting would be a good start. All have plenty of data points here, especially Cartika. I'd venture a night and day difference to what you're experiencing right now. But don't take my word for it, do your research, too. Best of luck!

I remember that Hosting/ResellerZoom was very popular on WHT long time ago. I think their owners changed and popularity dropped.

Hosting zoom and jaguarpc are same provider

They don't have live tech. support anymore and support is handled via tickets, usually takes 12-24 hrs. to respond... But they got a priority support for resellers, VPS and ded. servers for extra charge.

I'm on a shared plan, the server so far in August has only been up 98.7% of the time. Its actually down right now as I'm writing this. In July it was 99.38 and June 97.63 . This according to my pingdom monitoring. As of right now I don't know how this compares to other shared hosting companies but I've heard from a few that this is not very good while others have said this is not surprising for shared hosting.

Let me help illustrate how it compares --> Even for $2.50, I could give you probably 5 choices right now which would blow the socks off those numbers... Yikes...

Just stay away, any other would be good considering the support that they are not giving! It's been long time that they stopped tech chat but still advertising on the site! This is not the way, big companies do. You can easily judge them from this.

Hi, yes It's rigjht

Do you mean every tickets takes 12-24 hours to receive a response unless if you purchase priority support?

Posted by blacktr, 10-01-2013, 06:59 AM
Last time when they didn't reply for 36 hours, I tried to find and buy priority support. You can not even find where they sell it. And here is the reply after hours about the problem. (site started to give 403 error) ----------------------------- It appears that permissions were changed by a Tech working on the server and monitoring it. He probably found the account causing load on the server (it wasn't my site, it is still loaded, even now) but failed to update you regarding this. It is not a regular practice here and we apologize for the inconvenience caused by this event. We will make sure this does not happen again in future. We are sorry for the trouble. If you have any other issue pending, please bring it to my attention and I'll take care of it.

Uppps! And guess what Eventhough it is a reseller account, the account is all mine and it is a shopping site. So I lost customers and money, just because somebody thought (we are not even sure of that -probably-) that my site is loading server (which is approved that it wasn't) and forgot to inform me. Plus they don't give a s... to the issue for almost +36 hours.

If its only one site I don't see any use in having a reseller account, you can simply go for a good e-commerce plan or a semi-dedicated plan for the price you are paying for a reseller account.

Not one, but five. Rest is for informative and advertising purposes. So they hit the target closing the one that actually sells.
