Singlehop tandem program, anyone using it?

Hello forum, I would like to ask if you have had some first hand experience with the Tandem Reseller Hosting offered by Singlehop. From their website it really looks like a complete all around solution. I can spin up the ammount of servers of VMs I want and charge the client via WHMCS. They also claim they have practically 1on1 support in the sense that you will always talk to the same support people so they know everything about your business and setup and be able to help the most. However I can't complain at all of my VPS server which is currently providing the service to my clients. So, has anyone tried Singlehop Tandem? is it really good? thanks for the help!!

Their tandem support is excellent after my experience with contacting them several times. The general feeling I have from them is that they offer very high quality reseller hosting solution with a custom control panel. There is a lack of reviews for the reseller packages they have to offer, so I'm interested in seeing a couple of responses in this thread.

I have sold many servers using their reseller program in the past and boy can I say they are good. Their costs are decent. They have many features you can take to your advantage.

Single Hop stinks. Sales, Abuse, & Billing is pathetic. Sales & Billing employees are paid cheaply so the turnover rate is high. I can't remember how many account managers I have had. I don't recommend to contact them if you have problems. They don't like to work. Support is fine but if your customers send a ton of spam, abuse doesn't care whatsoever. You have to contact support to power down the server or use the feature inside the tandem panel if it works. They keep your server on for days if your clients send a ton of spam even if you tell abuse to shut them off.

I'm not going to re-open this year old can of worms by responding directly to this post. My only comment regarding MBacon's post to everyone is that I suggest taking MBacon's comment with a big , big grain of salt. Do some additional searching here in WHT for reviews about SingleHop and Tandem before passing judgement on us. We have literally thousands of happy reseller members. Unfortunately, as all of you know, in the hosting business, it is impossible to keep 100% of customers happy, no matter how hard you try to do so.

What happened to tandem? the site is gone, as in now it's only on one page of the singlehop site.

It's still there, its just listed under the partners heading. http://www.singlehop.com/partners/reseller-hosting/ Actually the redesigned single page layout looks better compared to their previous versions.

or you can just type http://tandem.sh and it will redirect you right away to that same page.

I've been with SingleHop for over 3 years now and have utilized almost every aspect of their services including Tandem. I've also been in the industry for over 8 years, 5 of those years spent with other providers. SH has by far been the best provider I've had the pleasure to work with, there is nothing they will not do for you as a customer - and I've had some pretty odd requests. The benefits you get by going with Tandem will help set you apart from the thousands of other resellers out there. The stability of the network, quality of the hardware, and free perks such as SSL certificates are things you get to pass down to your customers that will only increase your value as a host. I normally don't respond to other people's remarks like this but I found this statement to be quite absurd. How do you know what they're being paid, and how do you know their turn over rate? Because you had a few different account managers? I've been dealing with the same person at SingleHop since I got my initial quote in Feb. 2010. I never have to follow up when I need something, I ask once and it gets done.

People that act like total jerks tend to get paid very poorly these days.
