Wow its been like 4 months and like 3 server management companies and i couldnt get the clamav annoying errors solved , acunett said clamav update is not ready and they will work on it, and after 2 months i get nothing from them, than switching from acunett (now i dont feel bad that i left them at all cause i know how incompetent they are ). Hell clamav wasnt even working with my mail scanner and they said it was ok and normal for that update clamav tries errors i kept getting. But after 3 companies , today just looked at my logwatch and it said this : --------------------- clam-update Begin ------------------------ Last ClamAV update process started at Sat Nov 25 23:13:54 2006 Last Status: main.cvd is up to date (version: 41, sigs: 73809, f-level: 10, builder: tkojm) daily.cvd is up to date (version: 2242, sigs: 4823, f-level: 9, builder: ccordes) Received signal: wake up ---------------------- clam-update End ------------------------- Instead of that i used to get : Big difference from seeing warnings all the time to clean report on clamav. Thanks a lot steven(the rack911.com guy) for cleaning and setting my server right. If you want you can put in some techincal stuff about how the server looked like when you touched it , cause i aint that techincal i know few bits only. Its only like 3 days though, so will wait how it goes with me using rack911, well atleast kernel is not reporting any errors, so if someone needs kernel upgrades i doubt anyone knows what they know better than Steven, he looks like he got good knowledge and is kind enough to tell me few magical commands of how he checks stuff etc etc. Hoping he gets his new software issue solved and my server in some sort of monitoring so he can tortured by my server at nights if it goes down j/k dont want steven to fall sick or tortured ^^^oops i think above post just turned into a review, well i am pleased that i get no errors these days in my inbox. Just wish other companies had done the same. Hoping they improve cause at this rate their future doesnt look bright to me. Cheers
