Centrio Reseller is not serious

Please be advice that there are a lot of web hosting companies that are only in to make money and not help the web community to grow... l once bought reseller package from centrio .. a web hosting company who cliam they have offices in London but has not given the telephone number of the office ... but actually in bangladish... l was on a 50gb quota - l started geting bandwidth issues, they l was told that my hosting space is being moved to a location in Canada and that the current one has developed bad sectors and if l want good service l should pay extra 10 dollars to be moved to a location in the US that has good service.. l did ... the service became ok .. then one morning all my hosting acounts and that of my clients websites were all deleted with no notice ... l found out from this reseller centrio and not even an apology so l had to recreate all the website for the clients l had and even the emails were lost.... Now when l have not even used up my 50 gb space they delete accounts that domains has expired in 3 days with out a notice ... l asked they why they tell me if l dont want that problems l should upgrade to a super reseller program .... My question is are us serious ...tell mr the quota l have used that you want to delete clients websites and email addresses ... please be adviced the service you get from a hosting comapany like centrio

Personally, I have no experience with centrio host, Nor have I even heard of them. But after looking at their website several red flags come to mind. 1. They are unrealistically providing unlimited features for industry standard costs of that of their standard package. 2. There website is dull. I dont mean dull in the sense of the style but it has a lot of filler content on the homepage, but virtually nothing on secondary pages. As a web designer, I tend to judge a business based off of their appearance. 3. I clicked the LIVE SUPPORT link which said it is currently online only to come to a please leave us a message form. 4. They are using a BRANDED license of WHMCS. For a company that claims to host over 200k websites, how can they not afford the extra couple of dollars a month to un brand their billing system - WAIT its because they are using unrealistic pricing techniques. Heck, it is not even integrated to their website and uses a completely different style. A company this large should always work to integrate their site into a billing system to make it seamless as possible. Now in their defense I did find this on their support page. Support Center [ UK ] Flat 7 Barbanel House Cephas Street E1 4JL London, United Kingdom - - - - Hours of Operation : Monday - Friday ( 10 AM - 6 PM EDT ) Center Email : centriohost [at] msn [.com] NOC and Administrative Support : +88-02-8399009 | Monday to Friday | 10 AM until 6 PM EDT WAIT A MINUTE.. did that email address say @ MSN. ----- That should have been enough to warn you away.. They cant even brand their own email address with their actual domain? Someone doesn't know how to configure email.. BUT WAIT THERES MORE After further investigation (whois) i found that their domain hosts about 53 other domains and has had 12 different ips and 4 different nameservers... ok- not to uncommon but why are you not using a dedicated dns for your nameservers???? The domain has been registered since 2009. - They grew fast! taken from homepage -- Domain Reseller from ICANN Why are all domains you host registered with Godaddy... hmmm, further more if you can afford the icann accreditation how can they not afford to un brand WHMCS. yikes Ray

Ah good ol Centrio host, if I am not mistaken they were banned from WHT a couple years ago (for shady practices), just Google their name, or do an advanced search here and you should find plenty of info on them. I've seen their owner on various other forums giving the worst advice possible. I have no idea how they continue to be in business, but people should really do more thorough searches before signing up with a web host.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. Yeah. That msn email would have scared me away. It's not that hard to set up your own email addresses using your domain. Chad

Clever! No, but I hate hosting companies that advertise products and features that they cannot support to lure customers in. It gives us small guys a bad name. Not everyone is familiar with safe browsing habits.
