Super alpha reseller with good reputation - what exactly would that mean?

Posted by TravisT-[SSS], 09-23-2012, 03:00 PM
Would be better just getting a server and selling off of that if you want stability and reliability.

Posted by Mrgh, 09-23-2012, 03:02 PM
good reputation mean's Hosting company repatriation

I would suggest you to buy your very own VPS and configure it to sell hosting product. It will be equivalent to alpha reseller and super alpha reseller.

Correct but VPS with cPanel is expensive

I don't know of any who offer Super Alpha Resellers. I know of one who I believe used to be offering Alpha Resellers if you would be interested but I don't know if they are located in the US. Super Alpha Resllers allows you to resell Alpha Resellers. >----------------------------------< Me: Do you offer Alpha Resellers? Sales: We can provide what you're looking for with one of our cloud servers: http://www.kualo.co.uk/cloud/ Me: Do you offer USA servers or just UK? Sales: Yes we offer both USA and UK servers. (Hope that helps. They have reviews at: http://www.serchen.co.uk/company/kualo-2/) Last edited by Atlanical-Mike; 09-23-2012 at 04:20 PM. Reason: Added Sales Support for Kualo

It's not that hard to set up cpanel and one of the master reseller apps out there. If you want to be top of the food chain, VPS or dedicated is the only way to go.

But it doesn't have to go that way, like the OP said you've got server prices, then the cPanel prices, then the prices for the Master reseller or Alpha Reseller license, then you've got to secure the server up. It's not just as simple as you're making it out to be.

Misinterpretation. I meant it is easy to set up. I did not say there weren't prices to it. I've had sites on master reseller plans back before I had my own servers and I never had one I was pleased with. At least with VPS you have some control.

For alpha reseller you can use k-disk

never saw the benefit of looking specifically to be on a server where the resources are going to be massively over-sold! As soon as you have multiple layers of resellers then it is going to happen! Running a business does have expenses, so a VPS with the appropriate license are not a cost but an expense. If you cannot manage it, then there is another expense for a server management company. My suggestion is a VPS or dedicated server

I think Alpha Master reseller account is best for me.

Posted by Michaelz, 09-24-2012, 03:57 PM
Not if you care about the sites you host because that would be a waste.

What's a Alpha Master Reseller? I've only heard of: - Master Reseller - Alpha Reseller - Super Alpha Reseller But never a Alpha Master Reseller.

I think its a reseller account that can create more reseller accounts. So basically, its the hosting equivalent of Inception aka, A VERY BAD THING.

I don't understand why you don't just install cPanel on a VPS and install a plugin that would allow you to make master reseller accounts? I prefer this route as you are under control and it is sometimes cheaper.

I discover another company www.ushostexpress.org Any body know about that company ?

Posted by Michaelz, 11-04-2012, 01:17 PM
Seems like their WHOIS dates back to 2011 while they claim to have been around since 2007.

How much would you be willing to pay for this service as this is not a normal request and what will you do with it and who are you targeting with this request

Posted by bear, 11-04-2012, 04:05 PM
An absurdly nested account scheme. Alpha Master Reseller -> makes master resellers -> makes resellers -> makes hosting accounts -> bad things.

Any body knows about US Host www.ushostexpress.org ? Should I purchase MR3 from them ?

only ever seen super alphas on ebay for £5 for 12mths ect so think we all know that they are well oversold

Posted by Server Management, 02-02-2013, 06:48 AM
Considering on average a cPanel license will set you back £180/Year you'd need a pretty beefed up server or extreme overselling to even near break even let alone make a profit on flogging such accounts.

Posted by Michaelz, 02-02-2013, 07:33 AM
What gives you the idea of them being from the US?

Posted by Mrgh, 02-02-2013, 07:54 AM
I don't know they are from US or not but the word " US " located on their company name. No mater the company is located at US or not, matter is they are providing good service or not ?

That might clue you in to the fact that these things cost money.

Posted by Mrgh, 02-02-2013, 09:06 AM
Correct, I'm agree with you.
