Managed Dedicated Server - Best Deal

Posted by edjerum, 01-04-2006, 01:10 PM
Hello, I would like help on choosing a fully managed dedicated server. I am transferring many websites from three shared hosts that in total are less than 10GB with max traffic of 4000 uniques a day. I need at least 1GB RAM, CP, Fantastico and a backup HD. Liquid Web has an Athlon Special for $175 monthly with no set up or $150 with $250 set up that looks good and they would even help me with the migration of my sites to my dedicated server.1000GB Bandwith, 120GB HD, 16 Ips Is this a good deal that will meet my needs? Any suggestions/comments appreciated.

it's very good deal with FULLY MANAGED server. Usually I see it's much more expensive. Also, Liquidweb has good reviews here.

Any specific requests for CPU speed?

They are already offering you good CPU in this price. Also, the most important thing is they offered you site migration help. Regards,

Yep, I'd go for it. I myself pondered that server config but went with something more expensive mainly because I wanted SATA RAID 1 plus an extra HDD for backups (and the 50 GB remote backup is also free with higher plans).
