Seems to be down again for the last hour http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/imountain.com I see Site5 are sponsoring downforeveryoneorjustme now - the company I left because they were so unreliable!

We had a network outtage at our upstream provider and our onsite techs worked with them to resolve it as quickly as possible. Every year our ISP does maintenance in September. Other than that, they have been extremely reliable for us the past few years. Vinny, we know why you have issues your busy sites, feel free to email us when you're ready. We'll contact you directly Phil, we want to make sure our clients are happy.

I'm happy! Uptime (and speed) has been excellent this year, and it's good to see a problem fixed at 3am! One of the problems with forums like WHT is that bad things are reported immediately but there's often nothing in the record when everything "just works". In case anyone's in doubt, iMountain are the most reliable host I've found so far and I would certainly recommend them.

its down again. entire imountain network seems to be down. Gosh :-( i cant get to imountain.com as well. anyone else affected?

We are indeed down. Our upstream provider had emergency repairs to do. Their ETA for a fix is 30 minutes. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to be back up shortly.

Our upstream provider has resolved the issues and your sites should be running. Please email our support departement or open a ticket if you are still experiencing issues. Thank you very much for your patience.

Ok. Thanks for the update. working fine now. Was this pre-planned or done at the last minute?

Posted by imountain, 10-13-2009, 05:28 AM
Hi Vinny This problem developed just tonight and was not pre-planned. Our upstream provider had an outtage on another segment of their network and it adversely affected us. We contacted them within a few minutes and they resolved it fairly quick. Thanks for your understanding.
