Best tool to monitor mysql non optimized queries?
Posted by bambinou, 04-24-2015, 06:44 AM | Hello,
I have had a website built by some dev and would like to check on all the queries coming from the website to see which of them use a lot of ram or have problems.
Do you know a graphical tool(gui) that could be added to the whm panel that let me see nicely all the queries coming. in and out of a cpanel account please?
Also, having Munin already installed, do you recommend keeping this tool on a server or does it uses a lot of ram?
Thank you,
Ben

Munin is widely used as is Cacti and Observium.

I checked all 3 tools the Observium tool had a very nice GUI but it also had a high premium cost.
Will check further as perhaps there is a CPANEL plugin out there that can monitor everything nicely with a nice and easy GUI.

https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1...query-log.html is also easy to setup if you have root access. It will help you to find resource intensive queries.
