https://www.debian.org/News/2015/20150426 I thought I'd open a thread where we can talk about it as people start using / installing / upgrading to the GA release of Jessie

Been working with systemd since CentOS 7. Everybody is in for some big changes that has caused quite a bit of controversy. Due to the changes in basic things like how services are simply stopped and restarted, it's important for admins to at least install this and get acquainted with it before it comes time to roll out in production systems. I did this when CentOS7 came out by simply creating a VM in VirtualBox then importing it into Vagrant. This only needs to be done once and then you can distribute the Vagrant .box to other staff to save install times. If then so desired, you can upload the .box at: http://www.vagrantbox.es

Be warned that there are still some open bugs which are seriously critical for server operation, eg. affecting mdadm with possible data corruption! https://udd.debian.org/bugs/?release...t=html#results
