before i start with my hosting company i would really know how to do regularly backups of the whole server so when it comes to an emergency that i can restore all domains, databases, ftp folder and files. is this possible and if yes what method woudl u recommend me. please i need all informations. thanks.

It depends on what control panel you choose for your hosting server. Plesk and cPanel has their own backup systems embeded in their panel, which you can use to take regular backups and restore.

Are you using a control panel (e.g. cpanel, plesk, etc.)? If you're using a virtual machine there are a number of providers for backups. Veeam is a service that we use and if you are using VMware, I would recommend looking at their solution as a service provider. R1Soft is another solution that we use and they allow you to restore individual files through a cpanel plugin - R1soft doesn't discern if its a virtual or dedicated server. These are a couple of solutions that we are using. Good luck on your quest!

If you are going to start with a poor backup setup then I will suggest not at all provide any guarantee for backups. If you do provide backups then you should make your self clear about the terms and should monitor things on a daily basis.
Since you are using directadmin you can use the method Srv24x7 suggested. If you are looking for a shared hosting with lots of features, then i will suggest cpanel as most hosting are cpanel ones now a days and migrations for the clients from cpanel account to your server will also be easier. If you are using directadmin, I will suggest you to provide free migration assistance and get some good techs to provide support as well.
Another option is attach a new drive and setup a rsync based incremental backup system like dirvish

With r1soft/Idera, you are able to make on-the-fly restores at a block level. You can do an entire BMR of your server, or restore one missing file. It's very reliable and worth the cost just for the ability to reliably BMR in a pinch.

Sorry, but there it is. I would strongly suggest you start out reselling someone else's hosting before tackling the job of running your own.
If you're determined to run your own anyway then you need to practice your disaster recovery techniques... which means spinning up your own virtual servers (use VirtualBox) , setting up the control panel on them, run some backups of it - then try to restore it to a completely different virtual server. You will have to do this for real eventually. If you're not ready for it or if you choose not to perfect your methodology before then? Well.. yea we've all seen those "Help my server crashed and I'm out of business!" posts here before haven't we?

It is a self hosted open source file sharing software.It can be used for large number of file sharing.
But it is not recommended for a backup solution

Just a couple of weeks ago - took 'em 4+ days to rebuild their databases, despite having r1soft images to start with. :|
If those of you who have posted in this thread about r1soft are not taking additional, separate measures to make particular your MySQL/PGSQL databases are backed up properly yer gonna be in a world of hurt trying to restore from those backups...
