Yes.. but their plan is too BIG for me.. not balancing with my budget also.. Any other host?

Posted by Dustin B Cisneros, 11-24-2011, 01:13 PM
HostDime India you can try contacting them with your needs and budget maybe a custom plan? I am not sure if they will but give it a try!

Any other providers with Services/Branches in India??

Posted by Dustin B Cisneros, 11-24-2011, 01:23 PM
Those are the only 2 I can think of, there is defiantly more but that is my recommendation to you. I would defiantly try contacting HostDime in regards to there India location.

Payment gateway is required? Why you not use Debit card?

Posted by Subodh M, 11-24-2011, 01:53 PM
Did you mean WHMCS Billing Software License or just cPanel/WHM? WHMCS License itself cost around $15/month. I don't think that a host would offer a WHMCS License also with a package like this for around Rs.3000/Year (It's equal to around $57 USD).

Posted by Subodh M, 11-24-2011, 02:01 PM
Most Indian Debit Cards are not accepted in foreign payment gateways. Even PayPal do not accept it. So to use an Indian Debit Card, that host should have an Indian Payment Gateway integrated.

Reliable provider / 10Gb Space / INR 3000-3500 a year won't come together.

Posted by PowerBox16, 11-25-2011, 01:10 AM
10GB Space its so small you cant sell any stuff with it! who cares if the plan is big? the bigger the plan its easy to sell go hostgator.in

OP want to pay money through Indian Payment Gateway (Payment Processor like Authorize.net) Apply for a "International Debit Card" and also PayPal accept International Debit Card(VISA Verified - VISA Electronic) Last edited by DewlanceHosting; 11-25-2011 at 02:09 AM.

Look into CreedHost. You should be in and around 2500 bucks a year.

Posted by avishkar, 11-25-2011, 10:49 AM
Only cPanel/WHM. No need for billing software WHCMS. I only sell to my local clients.

Posted by avishkar, 11-25-2011, 10:55 AM
Thanx for the suggestion. Creedhost Looks much better.

Posted by public_html, 11-25-2011, 10:56 AM
yes its not in his budget. Indeed his budget is too low for some reliable services.

Posted by GearServe, 11-25-2011, 12:06 PM
Your budget is about $57.50/Year --> to get something reliable it might be difficult, But I'm sure you'll get loads of offers in that price range.

What about CreedHost India ? Anybody know about their reseller plans?

Posted by swatkats, 11-25-2011, 01:45 PM
op, I Pm'ed you. Guys, there's one host who actually sells unlimited reseller accounts at Rs 3700 Per annum or say 350Bucks per month.

Posted by avishkar, 11-27-2011, 03:07 AM
Any other?

Posted by swatkats, 11-27-2011, 05:45 AM
For God's Sake, Please Don't Use the Term UNLIMITED. It's Probably the Censored word in Hosting Biz.

Posted by DigiBrahma, 11-27-2011, 05:51 AM
You must be kidding. Go out and see most of the Hosts out there sell unlimited packages. I personally feel nothing worn in selling a Unlimited Package. Its the matter of going on increasing your resources to meet the customer demands.

Posted by swatkats, 11-27-2011, 05:56 AM
Unlimited bandwidth.. Seriously? How much 3,4,5...10 ,1000 TB? Unlimited hard disk? Hard Disks Come with Limited Storage Space.

Posted by DigiBrahma, 11-27-2011, 06:03 AM
Yes Unlimited Bandwidth.. If your space is getting full add some more hard disk to increase the same.. Yes it would cost us (the service provider), but the cost for the end customer would be the same. Not everyone would use the same amount of resources.

Posted by DigiBrahma, 11-27-2011, 06:28 AM
Why don't you post the name of the host publicly?

Posted by Vinayak_Sharma, 11-27-2011, 03:02 PM
What about CPU/RAM and other resources, like bandwidth capacity? How many HDDs will you be able to add to a single server? Will you allow someone to host a site like youtube/facebook/twitter on your unlimited plan, without kicking them out and hiding behind your TOS? So you mean a user can store petabytes of data on your server and consume geopbytes of traffic and you will provide the service for the same cost?

Posted by DigiBrahma, 11-27-2011, 03:11 PM
People who want to host like youtube/facebook/twitter would never buy a shared hosting account. Moreover those kind of sites would require a custom environment to operate and LAMP stack itself will not suffice. Check http://developers.facebook.com/opensource/ most of the stuffs which is used by Facebook is not supported in standard hosting at all. There are crores of sites out there, but there is only one Facebook. While some users may use much of resources, but majority of users will hardly use any resource. Like I have a server with 16gb ram and i7 processors, I still have majority of the resources un-utilized. Larger companies may have standard rules, but smaller companies like us adjust to customer needs because each customer is valuable to us.

Posted by Vinayak_Sharma, 11-27-2011, 03:55 PM
So you agree that you are misguiding people in believing that they can really get unlimited everything hosting.

Posted by DigiBrahma, 11-27-2011, 04:07 PM
I'm not misguiding anyone, they can still get unlimited disk space and unlimited bandwidth. 99% of users would still be happy with the companies providing unlimited resources. 1 % users who try to abuse the system (there is a difference between use and abuse) start shouting on those companies. See WHT talk itself, see the number complaints to the number of compliments with respect to any company. I just answered your question asking about sites like Facebook/youtube/twitter. With respect to those sites its not about resources, the running environment itself is not supported on shared hosting platform. And check the top hosts in unites states - http://www.webhosting.info/webhosts/ They sell unlimited plans, why are people still with them?

Posted by Vinayak_Sharma, 11-27-2011, 04:17 PM
Names used are for example. So, you are saying if a client of yours is consuming too much resources that means abuse and not use?

Posted by DigiBrahma, 11-27-2011, 04:28 PM
I don't mind any client usage any amount resource for his website. We do recommend our clients to use service like cloud flare which makes the site load faster, increases security for client while decreasing load on our servers and saving bandwidth. But I would mind if someone is trying to use a web hosting account as a file server, backup server, uploading some pirated stuff etc One of our client runs a news portal on wordpress on our server which get quite good hits. He uploads lot of images and a articles daily, that the part of the website, we don't term it abuse. I'm I'm just attaching a bandwidth report one of the account on our servers check - usage of 100gb+ bandwidth is not less ! If he uses 1000gb some day we don't mind. Attached Thumbnails

Posted by Vinayak_Sharma, 11-27-2011, 04:36 PM
So, you yourself saying that if someone is using 100+ Gb, you send them to use other solutions?

Posted by DigiBrahma, 11-27-2011, 04:44 PM
We don't send the customer to other service because he is using more. I just gave a example service of cloud flare which even we ourselves use on our main website digibrahma.com Cloudflare offers lots more than just saving bandwidth. We suggest cloud flare as a value addition but it is unto the users description to use it. As i stated in my previous post, lets focus on to helping the user about his question on reseller club.

You have the answer for your other post.

Posted by DigiBrahma, 11-27-2011, 05:01 PM
Lets talk about this post tell me why most people are still hosting with the companies offering unlimited plans? I have some genuine stats to support my claim - http://www.webhosting.info/webhosts/ Give me your stats?

Posted by Vinayak_Sharma, 11-27-2011, 05:07 PM
You may like to continue this discussion in one of the thread, where I have already answered your question. Idea just other day claimed in a big ad regarding 100 million clients, what's the population of the country?

Posted by DigiBrahma, 11-27-2011, 05:11 PM
I would reply back wherever you post.. Give me actual links or proof of whatever you talk. I don't know about the ad you are talking about and the company.

Posted by Vinayak_Sharma, 11-27-2011, 05:15 PM
Lol first you wanted to avoid the discussion, then you mentioned your other post and now desperate enough to reply every where.

Posted by DigiBrahma, 11-27-2011, 05:19 PM
Not not about I being desperate. Nor was I trying to avoid discussions.. I'm always open for discussions and my stand would be the same.. Seems like now you want to avoid discussion and again deviating from topic

Posted by Vinayak_Sharma, 11-27-2011, 05:29 PM
You don't have to keep standing. I never deviated from the discussion or the topic. You can bring in any stats or examples, you can always claim that you would not kick out a client if they use too much resources, but can you say the same for your upstream provider. You have limits to stay within, how can your customer be unlimited.

Posted by DigiBrahma, 11-27-2011, 05:31 PM
Do you use a broadband connection? Is it limited or unlimited?

Posted by Vinayak_Sharma, 11-27-2011, 05:35 PM
ISP claims it's unlimited but they put a cap on the usage, is that right or wrong? Mine are not unlimited.

Posted by DigiBrahma, 11-27-2011, 05:42 PM
Ok yours are not unlimited so how do you know they put a cap on usage? I have been using broadband since 5 years.. always been on unlimited plans, daily usage of minimum 4gb, my isp never had a problem... I'm with them till date.. I don't want to go for limited plans and huge bills coming up later saying I used more.. I have a cap on my bill not the usage.. You are misguiding other by posting thing publicly only from your prospective, living all other users opinion behind...

Posted by DigiBrahma, 11-27-2011, 05:48 PM
Lets us discuss at only one place.. Others Over here: This discussion on unlimited hosting is being posted on the other thread - http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showth...1099096&page=5

Posted by Vinayak_Sharma, 11-27-2011, 06:14 PM
It's there in their offers, in small prints, same as unlimited hosts have in their TOS. As I said, you are free to claim that, but people knows the reality. Who are those all other users? Even in this thread you are the only person supporting unlimited thing where as all other people have warned OP about it. Or is it because you chose to sell unlimited hosting and hence trying to justify it. As I said earlier, you can come up with all the reasoning, but the fact is there is no such thing called unlimited.

Posted by DigiBrahma, 11-27-2011, 06:18 PM
As per to previous post discussions continued at - http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showth...1099096&page=5

Posted by swatkats, 11-27-2011, 08:46 PM
Common Guys Unlimited.. Pheww! @Digibrahma, I will bring my friend who's website is resource wise Good, He needs 1.5Tb bandwidth per month and 1TB of Hard disk. Can you provide?
