NFS Mounts Wrong Directory After Reboot
Posted by Myflag2022, 03-26-2015, 03:22 PM | Fellow Forum Members,
I am in the process of deploying a modified Joomla install on Amazon Beanstalk with two folders as NFS. The system works well except for one critical fault. I add my settings to the fstab file after installing NFS and then save the AMI. However, when Beanstalk loads the instances it changes the NFS "Mounted on" location from '/var/app/current/images' to '/var/app/current.old/images'.
My question is do you know of anyway to force NFS to mount the correct directory after a server reboot?
Note: When I setup NFS manually the first time it works fine. It is just when it boots automatically after a restart that this issue occurs.
I will greatly appreciate any assistance you can offer.
Thank you,
Myflag
Edit: My fstab settings are as follows: (IP redacted):/var/www/html/images /var/www/html/images nfs auto,noatime,nolock,bg,nfsvers=3,intr,tcp,actimeo=1800 0 0

You have given lot of mount options. Please try mounting the NFS with no options. There may be possibility that one of the option is causing this.
Also, check /etc/mtab file, see if anything is declared in it.
