ftp issues

Hi, I'm facing this problem in both my dedicated servers and my solusvm-hosted vps servers.. in dedicated servers, I can't upload large files (1GBs+), it reaches some point and restarts .. I used many clients like filezilla and cuteftp and same thing happens.. also in openvz VPS servers hosted with solusvm, small files like 60 - 80 MBs do the same thing .. any pointers or clues?? Thanks..

What does the server log and the client log state when the transfer fails? It is likely restarting because something failed and the FTP client auto-restarts the transfer.

Hi, What FTP server you are using on the dedicated server and VPS? Check the logs and check the configuration files to see if there is any limit declared in it.

The issue could be something to do with sessions where after specific time the session times out and thus the upload or download process breaks
