Memcached can speed up mysql ?
Posted by feedstrike, 03-24-2015, 04:38 PM | Hello.
I hope this is a correct sub forum to ask about memcached.
I read that installing memcached (from http://memcached.org) + php pecl memcache can speedup mysql / mysqli process.
If i installed them, do they somehow automatically speed up mysql / mysqli process?
Thank you.

Some web apps also support using memcache for parts of the data storage which can also help speed things up.
