Catsnine - No response for 2 weeks

Posted by PN Web, 10-23-2011, 10:33 PM
I submitted a ticket 2 weeks ago for them to unsuspend my WHMCS license (license got suspended for no reason), up to now, I don't get a response. Also, without me knowing, they suspended the ONLY one account that I host under their server, for no reason at all. Support has been really slow every since I signed up with them (Been with them for 6 months) Where are you catsnine.com!!!

Not good, I hope things improve. But I guess all is fine if you like pictures of cats.

I hope, I pay them to get all my accounts suspended . Not so good.

Was your invoice paid on time through them? It sounds like either it was paid late and the license was not renewed, or it is an issue on their end with them not paying the license fees they owe to WHMCS. Two weeks without a response is quite ridiculous though.

My due date will be on this 28th. And they suspended my license and an account I host last Oct 10.

You can try and get in touch with the owner here: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/member.php?u=105226 They also have a phone number on the WHOIS: +61.0427369382 Although they list a PO Box address, still worth a try.

Doesn't look like they have a high volume of customers, so two weeks without a response is definitely not a good sign. Even if they did have a large amount of clients, 2 weeks without any response from their support would not be acceptable by any stretch. If I were you I would take your back-ups ASAP and seriously consider moving to a new web host? At this point, cutting your loses might be your only option (cant wait forever).

Try and see if they have a direct email address rather than using their helpdesk. Had a look at their twitter feed and it looks like they've had problems with ticket system before.

This is not acceptable I would reccomend switching hosts, there are plenty out there. Have a look in the web-hosting offers section. Good Luck - Ashton

They just replied 2 days ago. -_- took 3 working days to be moved to the right category? Wow O.o I paid them this month, just to get my account (whmcs and 1 hosted account) suspended for no reason. Took me 15 days for them to reply -_-

Maybe the cats were taking a nap?

Out of curiosity, if you are having such issues with them why not pack your bags and move to a more reliable provider?

I am. I already bought a hosting account from ezpz, although I haven't moved on account as they locked (suspended) it.

Hello, I checked yesterday and my WHMCS license had also been suspended. I logged a ticket at 12.17pm UK time, and guess what? Almost 20hrs later I still havent received a reply and my WHMCS license is still suspended. I paid my hosting account on about a week before my account was due, and its not due for renewal again until December, so why has my WHMCS been suspended? Has catsnine not paid for their bulk licenses? Who knows. But I will be looking at another hosting provider ASAP.

On the bright side at least they were still around. My curious question is, however, that you say it took 3 days for them to re-allocate your ticket and handle the issue... Did you just sit around for the other 11 days hoping the issue would resolve itself, or what?

Just over 27 hours later, and I have now got access to my WHMCS again. Although Catsnine have not provided any explaination to what the delay in dealing was. What also makes me curious as to the issue is this: Registered To: Roehr Pty. Ltd. License Type: Monthly Lease Expires: 2011-12-08 Version: 4.4.2 Therefore why did my WHMCS get suspended when the renewal date is 8th Dec? My billing date is 12th of each month although I paid this on 6th Nov 6 Nov 2011 Payment To Roehr Pty. Ltd. But still does not explain why it would get suspended on 18th Nov. If I found this info out, I will post it here. Last edited by azzieman; 11-19-2011 at 11:34 AM. Reason: .

Got told that there is an announcement on their home page regarding WHMCS licenses. Heres a snapshot of that: What's happening? We've noticed an increase in clients submitting technical support queries in relation to their WHMCS license requests. This is a reminder that such requests are not technical support. Future WHMCS requests submitted to technical support will be redirected to the appropriate area and responded to in due course. We appreciate your co-operation. However, they do not give an helpdesk option for WHMCS licenses / requests. They did advise me tickets that go in the wrong queue, go into an unallocated queue ready to be allocated. This normally occurs during business hours. So, if you are in a panic, wrongly submit a ticket into the wrong department, you are basically screwed? Sorry, but thats not good enough to me! But, hey I got a reply, but no explaination.

This is the renewal date of your reseller with WHMCS, it's not necessarily the date you pay your reseller for the licence.

To avoid any issues with your billing scripts, why not you register your license direct to WHMCS or other reseller.

Have you had any issues like this before with catsnine?

Posted by Kairus, 11-19-2011, 05:50 PM
I would just switch, they don't seem like a great host.

Move. Now. Leave while you can. You may not get a second chance. Backup everything now.

assuming that you have paid your bills in time and no issues from your end, getting your license suspended for 3 days would be a disaster for your business. As many has suggested I think its high time to look for a good reliable provider.

Hi John, Yep, I know, but it didnt explain to my why my License was suspended when the renewal date wasnt Friday. Just found it weird that my license was suspended on 18th, WHMCS renewal was 8th Dec. Hi MyLabuan - Because the WHMCS license comes free with my reseller account. And its cheaper for me to do it this way, then to get it directly. However, that being said, I will be looking at different ways. Hi Evox, No issues with the server at all, however when they did change over to a new VPS, everything went belly up. Trial Cpanel license, Sites not resolving, etc.. Just their support is really slow. Hi Skynethosting, I always pay my bill on time. In fact I always pay them early. I will be looking for a new host over the next couple of days. Turnkey and Eleven2 have my eye at the moment, unless anyone can suggestion another.. Thanks

There's a lot of good hosts for reseller Linux cPanel plans. I'd suggest expanding your list to about six possible candidates, not just two. Then narrow the six down to one. My go-to suggestion for reseller hosting is Stablehost, but there's several that are right up there in terms of quality (and pricing).
