Peer1 Outage 151 Front Street West

Rumor has it that peer1 suite 802 at 151 Front Street West is down due to a fire in the suite.
This is unconfirmed as of yet but building has cut power to suite 802 and partial of suite 709
More info to follow as it comes in

Update fire has been contained Peer1 is reporting power has been shutdown to whole building
This is incorrect only suites 802 and 709 have lost power...

No they have Data Center's all around the world
Update is power has been restored to suite 709 suite 802 where fire took place is still down...

Nasty fire, caused some downtime for our customers in our Toronto location as power was cut.

No one was inside the Data Center at the time of the Fire
Building was evac and later on people were allowed back on..
People who were on site was saying the CO2 Gas was still very strong on the floor just after which delayed access to the suite.
They did get back online fast enough though saw a few big sites offline due to the outage.

Interested in hearing what caused a fire in a "single UPS cabinet": was it a battery cabinet or UPS module? Maybe severe failure of a single jar?
