Is it a smart move to use ovirt + glusterfs?

trying to setup a private cluster for production using ovirt and glusterfs storage Anyone using this combo? Is it a solid production combo? Can't go openstack for now until i've fully figured all the parts out, plus openstack is tending towards enterprise..its having too many un-needed features for a small/medium cloud setup vmware essentials plus is too expensive and xenserver is no so reliable in my experience...i have used it and when the master node failed to start..it was almost disaster and can't image that in prod...at least not until citrix try to resurrect the almost dead xenserver. Anyone ovirt+glusterfs YES or NAH?

I can't give an experience report, but I am looking at glusterfs and ceph personally. My main concern is getting a solid implementation of erasure coding, which cuts both storage requirements as well as required cross sectional bandwidth for the cluster. Both systems are now owned by the RedHat sphere, and they both have erasure coding. To me it seems like ceph is a bit ahead though.
