Is this possible/correct with Nameservers?
Posted by uriko, 05-31-2011, 10:43 AM | This is the scenario, I currently own 3 Reseller accounts with different providers. 2 Master Resellers and then 1 Alpha.
Anyway, what I wanted to do was this, using another domain that I will add in EveryDNS, I want to make it possible to that domain added as the sort of nameserver holder (I don't know the term) and so when I have the "other" domain there, other than my domains being hosted currently with my providers, I want my domain there to have the nameservers I will be using with all of my reseller accounts, so say, I will put in ns1.thatdomain.com to point to A.
Then, when I have a client I will ask her to use that domain but I will still be able to host her in my reseller accounts.
So, it this possible? XD I heard about DNS Server and doing it on a VPS but I'm not really familiar really yet so I wanted to ask stuffs.

Try it out with a couple test nameservers and ensure they resolve appropriately before making any adjustment to your production setup.
