Alpha Reseller Suggestion

Posted by Gokdinx, 09-01-2010, 02:01 PM
Can someone throw some lights on which provider to chose, that have Alpha-Master-Reseller option. I am looking for Alpha Reseller Hosting. I am not in a position to manage my own sever, so please don't suggest me a VPS or Dedicated server. My Budget in $15-$25, I don't mind hosting provider that provides Unmettered or Unlimited specification, overselling enabled. (I know what it means, need no explanation on the term). I found out two host Rack0 and Jixhost. I have never find Rack0 livechat online, its always in Offline 'AWAY' status, but their price and specification are good, 500GB/5TB/13.95, within my budget. Jixhost are available on LiveChat and seems quite active in this forum too. Their highest alpha plan is unmetered/26.98, which impressed me but is a little beyond my budget. Their cheapest alpha plan is 10gb/50gb/16.98 which is costlier then Rack0 which is only 13.95/m and better specifications. Need hosting provider that offer better then this two hosts. Or suggest me which of the two hosts to chose if no better provider are there. Required guaranteed 99.9% server uptime, (Note: Kindly suggest me the cheapest Dedicated Server which I will need for testing and learning purpose only not for hosting non commercial, I want to give a try before I jump to it but as of now I need only Alpha Master Reseller for my business.)

Thank you for your consideration. I would suggest you only go with a host that can provide live support at any time, 24/7/365 that could be available to you whenever needed. This will filter out the small operations that do not have the budget for round the clock support. We only use large, powerful servers that are limited in the amount of accounts we place on them resulting in low server loads and fast access. We also do not count inodes. I can see a few companies offering Alpha Reseller who have active representative here. They seems okay but I have no personal experience with them. 1] DMEHosting 2] Rack0 3] Kdisk

I am with yourdomaingoeshere.com (YDGH) and they have been going above and beyond for my Alpha Reseller account! I have called @ all hours of the night & they are happy to help. I would be cautious of people offering ridiculous amounts of space! Just do a google search on how much reliable hosts charge for servers! You can trust the ones that are suggested here, as WHT does check them, if you ask.

Bottom line, search for each of these companies here on WHT. One of them I know, recently lost a lot of customers data. Take your time, be cautious and only order when you're good and ready. Don't be taken in by stupidly low costs or huge amounts of disk space/transfer. However, I've never once heard a bad thing about K-Disk and their plans are sensible and affordable. It's tempting to go for a cheap provider at times, but the day when your provider's server goes down, and you're left with a string of angry customers wanting to know where their website is, is the day you'll wish you went with the slightly higher priced provider. Start off with a small account, as you can always upgrade as and when you need to! Hope this helps Last edited by thishosting; 09-04-2010 at 08:27 AM. Reason: Change of name

Try both, you can purchase their Shared Hosting plan and then check their Server Uptime, etc. I don't think you can use 500GB(Rack0) Disk Space because of 20% CPU Uses Limit You can't use 500GB HD on Alpha Plans so I will recommended you to buy any Limited Plan.

rack0 is no more. their existing clients are being transferred to k-disk. I would recommend k-disk as I seen some good reviews about them here.
