SSHD Keep Alive
Posted by princeshoko, 11-11-2013, 10:57 PM | Ok having an issue keeping my SSH session connected. First time i've had this issue. I use
ClientAliveInterval 30
TCPKeepAlive yes
ClientAliveCountMax 99999 -
and
ServerAliveInterval 100
perhaps i've overlooked something. it has been awhile since i set up a new keep alive sshd server.

Also if you use ClientAliveInterval, you generally don't need TCPKeepAlive.
They're 2 different methods - and ClientAliveInterval is secure, TCPKeepAlive isn't.
Did you restart SSHD also?

I will drop the TCP Keep Alive.
Yup SSHD was restarted.

The PC has stayed connected all night 1 time. Then kicks out randomly at various intervals when im idle. So im pretty sure the server is fine has to be my PC or my Internet dropping for a second or two. Very annoying.
