Logwatch showing too many "attempts using mod_proxy"

My client is using Nginx 1.5.0 web server on Debain 7, Nginx default setup is configured no proxy is configured. Also, I am using CloudFlare free account.
From last week I have observed thousands of mod_proxy requests in Logwatch daily logs. Logwatch report mail reached 10Mb.
186.65 MB transferred in 501479 responses (1xx 0, 2xx 6039, 3xx 1507, 4xx 493933, 5xx 0)
19 Images (0.02 MB),
23 Documents (0.15 MB),
4879 Content pages (49.67 MB),
67 Redirects (0.01 MB),
493932 mod_proxy requests (81.02 MB),
2559 Other (55.79 MB)
Please see attached screenshot, I have copied all mod_proxy requests in excel sheet.
What should I do to stop this.

Please check attached screenshot, please help me.
