500GB bandwidth may be a bit too much in a reseller account. How much are you willing to pay for 500GB monthly bandwidth though?

When you say adult allowed are you running images or video? Also 500GB is alot, but may be nothing, depending on your budget.

Photos and video will be on a remote server. most will be available affiliate programs. Budget $ 20-30

You're probably better looking for a semi-dedicated solution or VPS. If it will be for multimedia it will likely use quite a bit of CPU/memory resources.

I assume you understand that such traffic will cause the useage of the server sources and that might be impossible at all to handle for reseller account I assume you can use VPS for that instead of the reseller account

So the bulk of your 500GB usage is going to be made up of regular web pages. Leaving aside the fact that you'll probably be using a programming language which will have a CPU/memory impact, the stress on the hard drives alone might put you outside the realm of shared/reseller hosting capabilities. That's without even considering the limited budget.

Yes I think your requirements suits to the VPS hosting . As mostly shared hosting does not allowed to host the adult content on the shared server as there might be not any reason besides the actual problem that adult sites consumes more resources.

Now I already use such tariff, all arranges, but only on a server safe mode on

500GB bandwidth is too much in a reseller account. why you dont use dedicated?

Posted by JixHost, 10-26-2009, 10:41 PM
If you are linking in the video it may not take as much bandwith as you may think. 500gb is more suited for a small dedicated server as you may consume more cpu/memory power driving all of that bandwith then a reseller may allow.

For those requirements your better off looking at a dedicated server. What kind of budget do you have for that?

500GB is to large for reseller, you can find that at dedicated server

You're better off with a VPS or dedicated server. Unfortunately it will probably lack a control panel (except for Webmin) and will be unmanaged. Search the dedicated hosting offers forum where they have dedicated servers for $25 - $30 per month.
