Issues with OpenVZ and New Ubuntu/Debian
Posted by ZonedHost, 09-06-2013, 03:43 PM | Hey guys,
I have a CentOS 5.9 server running OpenVZ Latest Kernel 2.6.32-348.16.1.el5.028stab108.1PAE.
I have tried to install the new Ubuntu 12.04/12.10/13.04 and Debian 7.0 templates straight from the OpenVZ OS Templates depository. For some odd reason, once these templates are installed I have no network connections on any of these OS's.
ifconfig
route -n
resolv.conf
I am unable to ping inbound/outbound aka ping google doesn't work and I can't SSH in.
Thanks

The problem I have now is when I reboot the Container I have to repeat these steps once again? Anyone any idea?
Thanks

For some reason, as I say when I reboot the VPS it removes the Vent0 from the network connection and also for some reason needs SSH to be restarted for :22 SSH outbound connections to work (Otherwise its refused on port:22)

Thanks
