Stopping traffic from cname redirect
Posted by onesimpleman, 01-10-2013, 10:03 AM | I have a dedicated server running on Plesk. On one of the websites Someone else is redirecting unwanted traffic through cname redirect. How can I stop this ?
For example my domain is xyz.com
Another guy who owns say imposter.com is redirecting his traffic to my website. I do not want this traffic.

Posted by eth00, 01-10-2013, 10:23 AM | Look into htaccess blocking based off of the referral or maybe the cname, one should work.
Blocking in the FW won't do anything because they are just redirecting clients

Posted by Crashus, 01-10-2013, 12:20 PM | Last advice is probably the best, you can also look up any 'default' pages so it will redirect there for all domains not added in your setup
