Server Side Security for Wordpress

Posted by Salvatore, 10-31-2012, 01:13 AM
Could someone please point me in the right direction for adding additional security at the server level for the CMS wordpress specifically? I have customers who use wordpress and I want to do my share on the server security side to prevent hackers to their sites. I realize there are other things to consider on their end but I just want information now on what I can do at the server level to secure wordpress. I use the csf firewall and took care of all the issues under "check server security" but was hoping additional measures could be done to stop wordpress hackers from my end (the server). Thank you very much, Salvatore

Install mod_security with atomic rules.

Thank you for your response. I have mod security installed on WHM. When you say "atomic rules" is there something I should paste into the "edit config" area? thanks again.
