How to: change domain on one reseller account to new domain

This is something i want to do for myself. i am changing the domain pointing to my joomla site. i thought if i could switch the domain name rather than go through and reinstall a new joomla instance and reconfigure it again that it would be easier. any ideas how to do this.

| Posted by Shaw Networks, 01-29-2008, 07:45 PM | | You'll first want to contact your web host about modifying the domain name on your account. If your host does not modify the domain name on your account, then it won't be possible for your new domain name to resolve to your Joomla installation.
Next (and last), you'll want to modify the Joomla's config file with the new domain name. I'm going off memory, but with Joomla the config file should be entitled 'configuration.php' and sould be located in the root folder of the installation or in a folder called 'inc'.
