VPS IP and First Configured Domain
Posted by umitemree, 10-29-2012, 05:45 PM | When I go to 31.210.107.53 (my vps ip) it shows the first site that I configured in httpd.conf. But on boxes that cpanel installed it's not like that. It shows a default web page .
How can I make smth like that?

First you need to add VirtualHost entry on top for your VPS hostname, some thing like below:
ServerName server.domain.com
DocumentRoot /usr/local/apache/htdocs
ServerAdmin user@email.com
Now, it will show the contents of index.html inside /usr/local/apache/htdocs whenever you browse your VPS IP address. Do not forgot to restart apache once you made the changes in httpd.config file.
