Reliablesite.net support problem

Posted by kjawaid, 01-06-2008, 04:44 PM
Hi I am having a problem with one of my client domain which is hosted on a factory reseller package on reliablesite.net servers .. the problem is i can't receive any email however i can send email through webmail .. when i try to send email from other domain hosted on same package it gives me this error " The size of the message you are trying to send exceeds a temporary size limit of the server. The was not sent, try to reduce the message size and try again. the server responded abc@domain.com Domain size limit exceeded. " Any one knows why this problem occures .. And now the scary part i just found out through my own experince that reliablesite.net claims that they provide 24/7 support is not true today is sunday and day is about to end and i have send the ticket almost 15 hours back and still no reply .. however on normal working hours i get a reply within 15-30 min and problem. I hope Radic or any other representative will come to resolve this issue

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. But only your host will be able to assist you with this. It would be good to send a reminder for your ticket or update it once more. How did you submit teh ticket? Was it from their helpdesk or by email? If it is via email any chance for your email to be lost or something like that?

iHubNet-Matt It may be a little late now, but I know that they were upgrading their servers, and the emails were having problems/out for a bit... I had the same issue. Radic and the team were working pretty solid through that time - I think that we all had tickets in. This is not to take the place of one of their responses, only to say that, for what it is worth, I hear you

Well my problem is resolved but ticket was answered after 15 hours .. i know they shift the data center and i never had any issue before but 15+ hours is too much time and the problem is very small and when the ticket was replied it was solved within 10 min ... but due to that problem and delay of answering the ticket i was about to loose on of my biggest client as emails are very essential for the business and when its not coming in then its a big big problem .. However i didn't loose the client and i hope this won't happen with me again

kjawaid, if they are doing server migration..other clients may have similar problem or other problems.. and because of high ticket/email flow, it may take that long. Since your email problem is resolved now, why don't you wait little bit until they settle down with server migration and ask what happened exactly and "15 hours" delay... Good luck.

Agreed, I definitely got a much clearer picture of the whole migration from Radic after him and the team were able to solve their problems. Its tough to be patient when clients are breathing down our necks, though.
