resource limit reached (cpanel error)
Posted by The Calling, 10-16-2012, 12:27 AM | I see this in my cpanel area.
I'm running cloudlinux on this box (centos, cpanel 11).
Why would that error appear in cpanel > resource limits area when the server status itself is always green and stable including memory usage?

And no new connections for that site are accepted (until old are done).
This is done so that single site cannot use up all the slots in apache, preventing all the sites being down.
The solution is to increase that limit for the customer (if the customer doesn't overload the server), or for the customer to optimize scripts (so that they would serve faster/don't tie up apache connections).
