Reduce concurrent FTP connections

Note: I am using Pure-ftp FTP server

You can find it under Server Configuration / FTP Server Configuration.

The only question I have is if someone is downloading say large number of small files, e.g. 1000 each at 100Kb in size, then I have noticed high number of connections being generated. Is there a way you can force to use existing connection instead of opening a new connection for each new file?
Is there some time limit before an FTP connection is closed?

| Posted by Cirtex, 10-16-2012, 05:07 AM | | The MaxClientsPerIP setting should take care of that if I understand you correctly. You can do some tests on your own on larger files via FTP download and see how it goes.

The following will limit the number of files the user can upload to 30000 and size to 1GB.
