pptpd VPN: assign random IP address on connect
Posted by chatmasta, 10-15-2012, 02:28 PM | Hey,
I'm setting up a VPN server with pptpd. It works great, except it always assigns me the same IP when I connect.
Say I have 128 IPs on the box. How can I configure pptpd to assign a random IP from the pool to each connecting client? It also needs to support having more than 128 connected clients.
What I've found online says I need to edit the pptpd scripts in /etc/ppp, but I can't figure out exactly what I need to do.
Any help would be appreciated.
