You should check Apache error logs /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log for more detailed information about 500 Internal Server error.

now most issues are solved but still https://domainname.com:2096 issue still exists

Restart the cpanel service once, just to make sure its online
and if you still face problem then update cPanel on the server
