Posted by bonjurkes, 03-02-2012, 08:39 AM | Hey guys,
I bought a 512 mb vps from Hetzner, just setting up the services on it. My friend mentioned me about "siege" and I gave it a try and here is my test results.
Transactions: ****************** 529 hits
Availability: *************** 100.00 %
Elapsed time: ***************** 6.23 secs
Data transferred: ************* 0.22 MB
Response time: **************** 0.13 secs
Transaction rate: ************ 84.91 trans/sec
Throughput: ******************* 0.03 MB/sec
Concurrency: ***************** 10.78
Successful transactions: ******* 529
Failed transactions: ************* 0
Longest transaction: ********** 3.14
Shortest transaction: ********* 0.03
There is 1 core Pentium 2 cpu on vps.
So do you have a chance to comment about results? The conf is pretty like default values.

Daringhost it's VQ 7 plan, with 1 core of cpu.
I am comparing my results with my friend that have Linode 512, and his concurrency is 100. And he says my siege results are pretty low.
