Setting up Dante socks server.

I'm trying to setup Dante on my VPS. I've installed it, configured and can run it without errors... but I can't seem to connect to it. I've seen a number of example configurations, maybe someone can tell me what I've missed or need to do.
/etc/Sockd.conf:Aside this file I have done no other modifications to any other files... I've also tried "venet0:0"
