Hello all First at all i wish you all merry christmas and happy new year im pretty noobby but i wanna learn something and ive got access to educational dedicated server. I installed CentOS 5 on it, and OpenVZ virtualization All works ok, i successuffly created first VE with debian 5 template. After enering into VE, i see that there isn't network access. i dont know where the problem is because i configured Openvz and created VE using official tutorial from openvz wiki... when i disable iptables on my dedicated server: service iptables start my VPS (VE) is alive and i have access to network from him. But disabling iptables globally isn't good idea what should i do? im pretty noob in this

Do on your host. Sometimes there are default rules on fresh CentOS setups, which won't work with OpenVZ.
