Look like there are many user on my site at the same times, however when i check my Google Analytics, everything look normal. I don't know why it show many user on my site when there are not a lots of them. Also when i put my old template back everything back to normal (no more 500 internal error). so what cause this problem? Thank advance

Please check, your webserver's error log. This will provide you the clear indication about the cause of the issue. If you are using a Cpanel server, execute the command tail -f /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log while accessing the page on the browser.

If you use apache, then 500 internal server error could be caused by an incorrect/missing rewrite rules inside the .htaccess file

Check the error_log file in the folder where error 500 is appearing and will see the problem.

As smerz has said I believe this is probably a rewrite issue - if you provide more information e.g. error logs people can help further. It would also be useful to know what you are running. You havent said if it is Linux/Windows and what software you are running on it e.g. Apache/IIS... Wordpress/Joomla... we are assuming that you are running a *nix box!
