Install centos on 12Tb raid drive

I am trying to install centos 6 on my 12Tb dell server I am unable to use all 12Tb even if I have gpt Can anyone tell me how can I use all 12Tb as linux partition does not take value beyond 2 TB

You really want all 12TB of storage allocated to / ? Create a smaller / partition and you can partition and mount the remaining space afterwards.

Couple other points, as I went through this not too long ago. 12 TB is obviously RAID, so you want to set up two different disk volumes at a minimum in the array. The first one needs to be 2 TB or smaller to make things simpler. When installing Linux, don't even mess with that other disk volume yet.
