tmp disk full causing MySQL storage engine error - anything i can do?

Hello, The tmp disks are full on our server which is causing MySQL storage engine errors. I've not heard back from my host (EZPZ Hosting) for over 2 hours so is there anything I can do? I don't have root access (just a reseller account). Thanks.

Hello, You can't do anything. You need to wait till your host fix this.

Thanks for the reply Paul and I thought this was the case. Sadly its been happening a lot recently and they don't seem to have found an answer to it yet. I'm pleased to report that the support ticket has now been answered and they have banned a rouge user that was causing the problem. I just hope it doesn't happen again and again as it has been for the last few months. (to be fair it usually resolved within 30 minutes but this was closer to 3 hours). Maybe time to move to a VPS to get away from the pesky rouge users.

Other VPS accounts on the server can still affect you in various ways. The only way to be fully rid of that sort of thing is to be alone on a server.
