extending LVM

I'm trying to extend LVM which is mounted on / using "lvextend -L+98G /dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00" But it gives, root@cpanel [~]# lvextend -L+98G /dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 Extending logical volume LogVol00 to 173.03 GB Insufficient free space: 3136 extents needed, but only 3051 available Do any one experienced such an issue? Please suggest me a solution.

Hi, Do you actually have enough space to extend this partition? Can you show us the output of the following commands: - pvdisplay and vgdisplay -v

No space available. Paste the o/p of #vgdisplay #lvdisplay
