This is the problem:
1 webserver running postfix to send vbulletin email notifications. The problem is I need to monitor when it's up and when it's not, so.. configured nagios but it doesn't seem to be responding to network requests.
This is what I got:
So, started diggin a little bit and this is what I found:
Service is up and running:
Firewall is down:
And still can not reach port 25 telnetting from outside:
From inside the server, it works great:
Any idea what am I missing?

Also check with ISP

Sometimes you can configure your mail server to also listen on port 26.

It's a server side issue.. because from the same monitoring server I can telnet other mail servers that are running Exim, it's just this one that doesnt seem to work.
