Recover Vmware ESXi

Hi, We had an incident on one of our servers last night and here is the situation: - Server doesn't have any raid - after turning the server on, monitor just displays a blinking underscore _ ESXi does not boot at all. I haven't done a lot on it just to make sure to do the right thing. My guess is that the hard drive is dead. Please advise if you know any proper solution or tool to recover the missing VMs. Thanks

Hi If your Hard drive is dead then so are your VM's ? However if you can get a resuce CD in there then maybe you could copy the VM's off it and re import them to a working Server. (make sure the next server has some Redundancy) Good luck
