I need high bandwidth / space Reseller Plan

Posted by diskhub, 12-21-2005, 11:16 PM
Hi, I am currently using Canaca.com Web Hosting but it always has downtime in the emailing service. I currently need to find a good reseller company which has: Good Space like 1G High Bandwidth as much as Canaca ( i chose that bcos it has very high bandwidth) as high as 1000GB Unlimited mysql database creation. Fast response time in the troubleshooting. Stable email and hosting Willingly to spend about US$15/month... any recommendation? I have seen Idolgic hosting which alot have recommended to me but it has too little bandwidth. Any Suggestion?

Your not going to find any good host with that type of bandwidth for 15 bucks... If you need 1000GB you should be looking for a dedicated server.

Maybe there's a relation between the price and the quality? Are you actually using 1000Gb of data transfer? What type of site do you have?

1000GB should definitely go on a dedicated. At most, if it's static HTML pages, a VPS MIGHT do...but that's really at the limit. Pushing 1000GB (if you actually use tht much) is dedicated territory

I get the strong impression that he is not using 1000Gb of bandwidth, but expects to grow into the limit. OP, you may want to consider averaging how much bandwidth you actually use and come up with a figure based on this average, say maybe 50-100Gb over your average if you are looking for space to grow, and then you might be able to find something

Something like 1tb of transfer isn't even an option with a reseller account in my eyes, you definately should consider finding a cheap dedicated server or a VPS if you can even find one with that amount of transfer. Anyway, Good Luck with your search.

any good recommendation? Canaca.com is giving me 20GB of file size and 400GB of transfer. But i need some with resellers features or maybe dedicated one. Any good recommendation with such high specification?

I've heard horror stories concerning Canaca. Try using that space and bandwith and see if they won't suspend your account for excessive ressource useage (cpu wise probably). A dedicated server or a VPS would be much better.

15/month for 1,000GB of B/W? Most dedicated servers don't come with much more than that, and they can run several hundred a month. You can find shared/reseller plans offering that much (aka semi-dedicated), but you're definately going to have to have a higher budget.

you can buy cheap server on managed com - if it`ll be for one site you can do not install any panel or something like zpanel or cvhs.

If you do find a host that would be willingly to legitimately offer you that account, it would be in the form of a managed dedicated server setup. You'd be better off just purchasing a dedicated server and save money.
