Recommend a Backup Solution for a VPS?

Posted by Saniuk, 05-12-2011, 12:01 AM
I was wondering if anyone could please recommend a backup solution for my VPS (cPanel/WHM) that hosts multiple accounts. I currently have 7.5GB to backup but this number is increasing. I am not sure how often it would be ideal to take backups/whether or not it needs to be on an external server. Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated on how to keep the data safe. Thank you in advance for your help.

Rsync on a daily cron routine. Best option.

Use default cpanel backup solution from root WHM, as well its better for you to set that weekly basis.

I'd recommend R1Soft. Some of the companies around here offer backup agents at decent monthly costs. And to top that, they host your backup too.
