how to run the same app multiple times on the same port on different IPs?

let's say i have a VPS or dedi with 5 public IPs.
how would i bind each instance of that app to each one of those IPs so that all instances can use the same port?
is that even possible?
i prefer CentOS or Windows.

| Posted by centauricw, 05-13-2011, 12:14 AM | | This is really going to depend on the app. Usually, apps that listen for TCP/IP connections will allow you specify the IP and port as a command line switch or configuration file entry. But, again, it all depends on the app.
