Reliaspace nightmares!

Posted by luisren, 09-12-2005, 06:00 PM
I purchased a reseller account a while ago primarily because of the free AWBS software. Their package price and their reseller comparison page further convinced me to leave Hostagor and sign on with them. Boy! What a mistake that was.... Here is their comparison page: reliaspace.com/drams_comp.htm Basically, I've been through numerous Resellers and Reliaspace has provided me with the ultimate worse service of them all. If I can even call it "service." I had reliaspace setup the AWBS software for me. Since setup, I've submitted multiple support tickets through their support system without a single response from them. Not a SINGLE ONE!!! Most of the time I would have to find a way around the issue myself or ask AWBS for support. AWBS kindly provided some support even though I did not purchase the product directly from them (Special Thanks to AWBS!) Basically, AWBS went out of their way to help me cause they could tell I was "left out there" by Reliaspace. The company is owned and operated, either partially or totally, by a company that goes by the name Media31.com. Also, any site created my Media31 has the same hosting reference to Reliaspace on it. Hmmmm! Apparently, they want you to think that they are unrelated even though my request for a Directi refund resulted in an automated message from an @media31.com address. Guess what? No response on that refund as of yet - and its been a few days now!!!! My suggestions is to stay away from Reliaspace simply because they to do not respond to their support system at all. Their on-line operator is actually ClickChatSold and only fields pre sales questions. Reliaspace will respond to you during the initial sign-up process but after that you are on your own. I know this to be true because I am not the only client to go to AWBS for support due to lack of response from Reliaspace. I feel I was left high and dry with all my issues and had to hack my way around them or beg for help from a company that has no reason to help me. I must migrate my account to yet another reseller. I assure you all of it is true personal experience. I must say that this experience alone has left such a bad taste that I'm seriously considering being done with the reseller business. ...More to come on this soon... Please shoot me any questions.. Just amazing. Still no communication from Reliaspace or Media31.com. I guess at this point I'll just need to cut my loses and move on. Anyone have any idea of how I can get my directi refund? I am under Reliaspace's reseller account and I initiated the refund process about 6 days ago.

Still no responses from multiple phone calls, emails and Trouble Tickets. Does anyone have any idea of what I can do to get my domain name reseller deposit back? I've applied for a PayPal dispute but doubt Reliaspace will even respond to that. One thing I've learned out of all this is that one should only sign up with a site that offers a 30 day money back gurantee, been around for a while and has reviews on them. This kind of situation is what makes people fear signing up with new sites with seemingly nice deals.

UPDATE: GUESS WHAT - STILL NO RESPONSES FROM RELIASPACE!!!! UNBELEIVABLE! Anyways - I've moved on and chucked the losses. Filed a few disputes with PayPal. I'm up and running with another provider. Good rittens to bad rubbish! Thank goodness I was able still able to use FTP to get client's moved. STAY AWAY FROM RELIASPACE!!!!!
