There is a number of reasons that could be causing this. Please post the output of "top" and "ps aux" in order to let us diagnose further. I see you're also on a VPS, have you ensured services such as PHP, Apache etc are configured and optimized in the same way?

How did you setup your MySQL? Your MySQL server seems to be the bottleneck here. Did you change any of the default settings? And also, did you copy the tables into the new MySQL server or did you do a database dump and import? A copy of your /etc/my.ini would be helpful, of course blocking out any passwords & other such stuff.

Vbulletin is an great Product, but sometimes how an Bitch takes all System Resources what it can get. ;-) I love the Admin Section, nice structure.

yeah it looks like mysql is eating up most of the cpu. you can get a small boost dealing with php as well. I see a lot of "php " which means you're using php in cgi mode, which is pretty slow. If you change the php / apache method to fcgi, you'll get the memory saving benefits of cgi mode, but it will be a lot faster. fcgi also supports eaccelerator, which will make things even faster for php. cpanel makes it pretty painless to switch this. that said, definitely something is up with the database more than anything else. even a small boost from improving php isn't going to make a huge difference here. If your previous hosting was running much faster than this, and it's configured identically, it's possible the node you're on is oversold. Otherwise, I would suspect some kind of big mistake in configuring your database.
