I want to set up a cpanel demo so potential customers can browse it.. but not make any changes.

You go in WHM, set up an account normaly (usually demo/demo) Then in WHM you should have under Account Functions a button called ENABLE or DISABLE Demo Mode. Click that button, choose the demo account you just created and hit enable.

I don't recommend doing so unless you want your server screaming "Root me next. Root me next please!"

its not demo of WHM, its demo of cpanel, as far as i know cpanel demo is quite safe comparative with WHM one.. right?

No. As far as I know there isn't a WHM Demo. I know of one fairly popular host that was just hacked due to the cPanel demo.

use DemoDemo.com video's to show customers what cPanel looks like. It's a good way to see the product w/o a security risk.

Terry already told me to not use a demo account, so I won't. I will save up for the demo demo tutorials and maintain a series of screenshots for potential customers.
